Kim spent many of his early years in Papua New Guinea before returning to Australia and settling in Brisbane. After working in hospital administration for several years he began his medical training at the University of Queensland, graduating in 2012.

Seven years working in hospitals in regional and South East Queensland has helped him gain experience in the management of a wide range of medical and surgical conditions.

Kim has an interest in Chronic Diseases, Oncology and Palliative Medicine. He believes strongly in community engagement to drive improvements in the health of all Australians.

​

In his free time Kim enjoys cycling, exploring South East Queensland, and fine coffee. He spends most of his spare time with his young family.
