Dr. Farshid Soheilifar is a highly experienced and dedicated General Practitioner, with over 18 years of clinical expertise in both primary care and emergency medicine in Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland, where he is actively involved in the academic development of future medical professionals.

Throughout his career, Dr Soheilifar has held a number of senior clinical roles, including his current position as a General Practitioner at Gympie Road Medical Centre, as well as appointments as a Senior and Visiting Medical Officer across various public and private hospital departments throughout Queensland. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he contributes significantly to the professional development of emerging general practitioners through his work as an examiner and supervisor for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Soheilifar’s areas of special interest include medical education, particularly the teaching and training of GP registrars and medical students, as well as the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes and obesity. He also has a strong interest in minor surgical procedures, with particular expertise in microscopic ear toilet and the treatment of ingrown toenails.

He is fluent in both English and Persian (Farsi), which enables him to provide culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr Soheilifar enjoys playing soccer, fishing, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
