Dr. Samantha O'Connor completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland. She undertook her internship and subsequent residency at Redcliffe Hospital, gaining clinical experience across a range of specialties including General Medicine, Mental Health, Paediatrics, and Women’s Health. Her training also included a valuable rural placement in Blackall, further enriching her understanding of regional healthcare needs. This all helped lead her to a career in General Practice.

Prior to studying medicine, Dr Samantha worked in several areas of the health sector, with a focus on chronic disease management and Aboriginal Health. She brings this diverse background and deep commitment to holistic, community-centred care to her role in General Practice.

Dr Samantha is a proud Quandamooka woman of Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island). Outside of her medical career, she enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs
