Dr Soon graduated with a medical degree from University of Queensland in 2013 and prior to that, she completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in University of Western Australia. Post graduation, she completed her residency training in a mixture of metropolitan hospitals and rural hospitals(Mount Isa, Kingaroy and Gympie hospitals).

This diverse range of training has helped Dr Soon not only develop a broad range of clinical expertise including emergency, general and paediatric medicine, and women’s health but has also taught her to practice medicine holistically.

Besides being a doctor, Dr Soon is a young mom with 2 children. She enjoys spending time with her family and occasionally blogs about food places to eat when she is free.
