Dr. Hooi  Peng Soon is a GP Specialist and a dedicated mother of three daughters.  She studied at the University of Queensland, where she earned her medical degree in 2013, and was awarded the fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioner in 2022.

As a general practitioner, she enjoys caring for individuals of all ages - from newborns to the elderly; while also balancing the joy and challenges in motherhood. Dr Hooi cherishes the journey with her patients, building long-term relationships and guiding them through their health care decisions. Whether providing pediatric care or tending to the elderly, she is known for her patient-centered approach and her commitment to delivering the highest standard of care.

Dr Hooi has a special focus in women's health providing contraceptive advice, and performing Implanon and IUD insertion and removal. Besides that, she provides iron infusion and ear microsuction.

Outside of her professional life, Dr Hooi is a proud mother to three daughters and is well aware that the motherhood journey and parenting skills provide challenges on its own. When she is free, besides catching up on housework and kids' relentless requests; she enjoys a quiet time reading, baking or painting.
