Dr Chantel Sabbadin grew up in Far North Queensland, before jumping head-first into an undergraduate medical degree at James Cook University. Graduating with an MBBS with Academic Medal in 2017, she went on to complete two years of residency at Redcliffe Hospital, where she gained skills in paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, geriatric medicine and adult general medicine and surgery, to name a few.
Chantel is a spirited and patient-centred doctor with a keen interest in women’s and sexual health, paediatrics and preventative medicine. As a fresh first-year GP Registrar, she is keen to build knowledge and skills in all aspects of General Practice, and is motivated to do her best to become your health advocate.
Outside of her rooms, Chantel spends her spare minutes devouring podcasts, chasing beach sunrises and hunting coffee (often all simultaneously). Coming from a large Italian family, she is committed to the pursuit of good food and good company.
